Welcome to Sudoku Masters: World Champion, a mobile application developed and operated by Apps Foundry Labs Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sudoku Masters: World Champion mobile app (“App”). By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Definitions

App: The Sudoku Masters: World Champion mobile application and associated services.
User / Player: Any individual who downloads, registers for, or uses the App.
Account: A personal profile created by a Player to use the App’s online features.
Service: All features and functionalities provided via the App, including both free and premium (paid) features.
Coins: Virtual in-app currency that can be earned or purchased within the App.
Sudoku Masters+: The premium subscription tier that removes advertisements and provides additional benefits.

2. Eligibility & Registration

The App is rated 18+ on the App Store and 18+ on Google Play.
Users under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) should use the App under parental or guardian supervision.
You may register using Apple login, Google login, or email.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Only one account per person is allowed.
You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account.

3. User Conduct

By using the App, you agree not to:

Impersonate others or create multiple / fraudulent accounts.
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities to gain unfair advantages on leaderboards.
Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or cheating software to interact with the App.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Interfere with or disrupt the App’s servers, networks, or infrastructure.
Upload offensive, inappropriate, or infringing content as a profile photo or display name.

We reserve the right to remove content, reset statistics, or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

Username Policy

Your display name or username:

Must be between 3 and 20 characters
May contain only letters, numbers, and underscores
Must not impersonate any real person, brand, or organisation
Must not contain profanity, hate speech, sexual content, or offensive language
Must not be misleading regarding your identity or affiliations

We reserve the right to change or remove usernames that violate these rules without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

4. Services & Features

Free Features

Play unlimited Sudoku puzzles across multiple difficulty levels.
Track your gameplay statistics, streaks, and progress.
Compete on country, continental, and global leaderboards.
Earn coins through gameplay and rewarded advertisements.
Use hints and undos (purchased with coins).
Receive daily puzzle notifications (with your consent).

Premium Features (Sudoku Masters+)

Ad-free gameplay experience.
Additional coin bonuses.
Access to exclusive features as they become available.

5. In-App Purchases, Virtual Currency & Subscriptions

Virtual Currency (Coins)

The App uses a virtual currency called “Coins.” Coins can be earned through gameplay (completing daily and ranked puzzles), watching rewarded advertisements, or purchased via in-app purchase. Coins are spent on gameplay boosts (hints and undos). Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, refunded for cash, or traded between users. We reserve the right to modify coin prices, rewards, and the virtual economy at any time.

Coin Packs

Coin packs are one-time consumable purchases processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once coins are credited to your account, the purchase is final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the refund policies of Apple or Google.

Subscriptions (Sudoku Masters+)

Premium subscriptions remove all advertisements and provide additional benefits. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. We do not collect or store payment card details.

Consumable Boosts

Hints and undos purchased with coins are consumed during gameplay and cannot be refunded once used. Unused boost credits persist in your account indefinitely.

Pricing Changes

We may adjust pricing for coin packs, subscriptions, and in-game items at any time. Any price changes will not affect previously completed purchases.

6. Leaderboards & Public Rankings

Public Display

By submitting puzzle results in daily or ranked modes, you agree that your display name, country, best solve time, puzzle count, and rank position will be displayed on:

In-app leaderboards (visible to all authenticated users)
The public website at sudokumasters.app/leaderboards (visible to anyone)
Shareable rank cards generated within the app

Leaderboard Integrity

We reserve the right to:

Remove or adjust leaderboard entries that result from cheating, exploits, or abuse
Ban players from leaderboard participation for violations of these Terms
Use server-side validation to verify puzzle solve times and detect anomalies
Anonymise leaderboard entries upon account deletion

Shareable Rank Cards

The App allows you to generate images or videos of your rank and share them via your device’s share functionality. By sharing, you acknowledge that the content becomes public and may be redistributed by others. You are solely responsible for where and how you share your rank cards.

Rank Card Content

Rank cards display your display name, global/continent/country ranks, best time, country flag, and a link to the leaderboard website. No private data (email, coin balance, user ID) is included.

7. Push Notifications

The App may send push notifications for:

Rank changes on leaderboards (when another player overtakes your position)
Gameplay milestones (puzzle completion milestones)
Re-engagement reminders (if you haven’t played recently)
Special events or promotions

You can manage notification preferences within the App’s settings or disable notifications entirely through your device’s system settings. Enabling notifications requires granting permission on your device.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the App settings.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in cheating or exploitation
- Pose a risk to other users or the platform
Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Content Ownership & Licence

All puzzles, designs, graphics, code, and content within the App are owned by or licensed to Apps Foundry Labs Ltd.
By using the App, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the App’s content without our written permission.
If you upload a profile photo, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it within the App (e.g., on leaderboards).

10. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the App.
We are not liable for any loss of gameplay data, progress, or virtual currency due to technical issues, device failure, or circumstances beyond our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or zero if you have not made any purchases).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Platform-Specific Terms

iOS Users

You also agree to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple’s EULA, the latter shall take precedence for iOS users.

Android Users

You also agree to the Google Play Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Google Play’s terms, the latter shall take precedence for Android users.

12. Modifications to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify users via the App. Continued use of the App after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
